Our Heart is to praise God, teach His Word, and support communities of believers all around the South West. And at the Home School Hub, we hope to achieve this by equipping, connecting and encouraging homeschooling families.
For Students
Classes are available for all ages at the Home School Hub each term for 8 weeks on Wednesdays, in Busselton! We hope to have something for everyone. Organic in nature, each term may offer different classes. Tutors at the Resource Centre are not hired staff, but rather "freelance" tutors. This is why you will find that the prices vary between classes.
Tutoring Support is ideal for students in need of extra help in many subject areas. The compassionate and competent tutors are here to help your student gain the tools and self-confidence they need to work through the subjects they’re struggling in.
Hands-on Learning is a core part of the Home School Hub. Classes like choir, woodwork, drawing, and leatherwork are all incredible examples of this. Students are given the opportunity to learn by “doing” which plays an integral role in growth and development.
For Parents
Community and Fellowship is central to all that we do at the Home School Hub. As a Christ-centred organisation, we deeply value the relationships that are nurtured and fostered in this incredible homeschool community. Please always know that you’re not alone, and that we are so looking forward to being a part of your families home schooling journey.
Encouraging and Supporting parents is at the heart of the Home School Hub. To this end, we hope to offer a variety of parent education workshops each semester on subjects such as Homeschooling basics, Parenting, Life and Faith.
Coffee and books are a great combination. And so we are working toward setting up a new and used bookstore and library, that will be packed full of Christ-centred and non-woke Fiction, Non-Fiction, Bibles and even curriculum for all ages!
Wanted - Passionate Tutors
The Home School Hub welcomes professional teachers, parents, as well as others in the south west community. We want to invite you to teach a class on something you feel passionate about. It can be almost anything!
Typical Day
